Kayla has six years of design experience with a broad range of projects including government agencies, multi-channel platforms, and nonprofits. As a UI/UXDesigner, Kayla combines research, prototyping, interaction, and visual design to transform complex problems into impactful products for her clients. Kayla currently works on the TO GAMMA team working on enhancing the web experience for the NHLBI website. She is applying human-centered design thinking to her daily design tasks while performing design system audits and making changes within the WCMS. Design tasks include but are not limited to, Creating an Analysis, post audit, to collect and evaluate data to review about how the NHLBI users are experiencing and interacting with the website, then using that data and competitor analysis to enhance the user experience.
Prior to Octo (an IBM Company) Kayla most recently served as a UI designer for Intellibridge, working on lol government projects for USDA, including, The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), SNAP-ED, and Forest Service
